This is the most annoying thing to me

It was cool seeing him in this episode, but I just want them to leave him alone and tell other stories.
This has to be part of the contract he had with them: they can’t release the theatrical versions.
theres only so much think pieces you can do about Star Wars
That’s fair. What we got is beloved and, in retrospect, very special. It could have gone badly.
Star Wars can always be whatever you want it to be I suppose. The sequels as released do very little for me, but some of the concepts/ideas were nice. Even the original trilogy had its problems.
I am confused by the timing too. We saw this movie 6 weeks ago.
I would actually recommend the RetroUSB AVS. Its an FPGA clone console, outputs of HDMI natively, and it front loads like an NES. Its basically a modern NES that still plays your old cartridges, or a flashcart if you have one.I have had once since they first released then in 2016 and I have loved it.
You cant’t get digital out with the original chips without significant modding. There was a HDMI mod for the NES but I think it is out of production now. I heard these chips it was based on reached end-of-life,a nd its inventor now works for Analogue, maker of the FPGA-based NES clone the Analogue NT (mini).
Stop me if this is a duh, but what about Blinking Light Win?
My gut tells me the PPU and CPU are likely harvested from old, yellowed Famicoms. Authentic versions of these chips are otherwise out of production.
He is looking Paul Dano-ish there.
To think we, as a species, could control a respiratory virus is beyond arrogant.
I haven’t forgotten to reply. We are going to have to find suitable and inexpensive alternatives to plastics and petroleum derived products to continue modern life in a low-carbon future. Plastics may not be technically necessary for modern life, but functionally they are.
I am all for efficiency, sustainability, etc, but the math doesn’t add up. We need reliable sources of energy (nuclear, battery storage... maybe?), a wealth of energy transition minerals for our batteries (the mining and processing of which are largely under control by 3-4 countries including the human rights…
I am not sure how we can continue living our modern life without fossil fuels. Energy aside, fossil-fuel based plastic is basically a miracle and has saved many lives and made so many incredible things possible. We need the energy from fossil fuels to produce the steel for our wind turbines, harvest the minerals that…
Nobody is exempt from having to defend their stance, I just don’t know if its worth the energy.
That’s a lot of energy to spend on this person.
Her character is more of a parody of scientists, I would say. Like what non-scientists think scientists are like.
People really ought to pick on someone else.
