Someone like Westbrook getting injured like that is always a little scary (if you’re a fan) because of the degree to which his game depends on his athleticism.

The main reason this whole saga is hilarious is because it’s exposing both Butler and Thibodeau.

Scorching hot take.

Underrated comment.

Depends on how you look at it.

Well, yes, but that was before the injury. Teams weren’t exactly chasing him and getting max deals once he hurt his Achilles.

You’re not an idiot. The tweet is awkwardly phrased. At first glance it looks like he is saying Klay is the only one to cross 50 points in less than 30 minutes, which surely cannot be true (Wilt undoubtedly did it multiple times, probably Jordan, and I think even Kobe would have). But what he is actually saying is

I think the point he is making is that, not taking anything away from LeBron’s awesomeness, his path to the Finals was easier than the Bulls because the Eastern Conference, for the majority of LeBron’s career, has not been very good. Maybe 1 or 2 decent-to-good teams, but hardly anyone noteworthy, unless you count the

Shaq he will never be.

8 straight Finals.

55 wins, actually.

While your point about small amounts not making a difference is right, there is no way the NBA goes with such a hefty fine. Nor, frankly, should they. Getting a full game’s worth of fine is something the NBA would do only for serious transgressions.

There is a authoritarian overtone to your messages that’s a bit hard to ignore. “whiff of the plantation”, one might say.

I wonder if Daryl Morey realizes that he is, in effect, verifying what Rondo said?

“Michael Jordan overall FT stat are similar to LeBron James, hovering around 83%.”

Interesting. What’s your alternative proposal, then?

Because David Stern.

Doc Rivers’ son doesn’t play for the Clippers anymore.

I don’t know if stats will make that clear, as such. His VORP last season took a pretty significant dip over the season prior, but I guess that could be because he wasn’t 100% healthy.

I wonder what it must feel like to be someone like Mike Muscala, whose father has been very publicly outed - and is now known by millions of people - as a racist douchebag.
