When it comes to Australian Olympians taking the piss out of themselves I don't think anyone can beat Steven Bradbury. He's made a pretty successful career out of it.

I knew she wasn't really dead because I heard she's alive in the comics, it was more the fact that it wasn't established that glamours could transform you into another specific person that made the explanation feel like a bit of a cheat. For the game to stand on its own merits Telltale need to make sure they establish

Overall I'm enjoying this game, although so far the storytelling isn't as strong as The Walking Dead's.

Everyone involved just absolutely knocked it out of the park. As great as Daly and Tompkins are, they were very nearly upstaged by Bartleby.

I like that this seems to be all new material so you can think of it as a new season of the original. I just hope they keep in the ridiculously overwrought metaphors Myles Barlow used in the summaries of his reviews.

There's something about beer companies, they seem to make great ads. Again this one isn't from the Superbowl or American but it's one of my favourites:

Just adding to the chorus of praise to say yeah, the Australian Rake is fantastic. I think the main difference is the Aussie version doesn't have that watered down for network TV feeling that I think will probably be the undoing of the American version.

I'm looking forward to seeing Review with Forrest MacNeil also. The original Australian version is one of my favourite TV comedies and Andy Daly is a perfect fit for the material. I'm wary, but it has the potential to be really great.

Next season, on Homeland: Ghost-Brody gives Carrie meaningful life advice.

Totally agree with you on Upper Middle Bogan, that was a great show. For scripted Australian comedies I would also recommend Review with Myles Barlow which is probably my favourite black comedy TV show ever.

A friend of mine once made orange tic tac infused vodka. It was truly awful.

Yeah, being only a few years out of school a lot of my friends and I found Lilley's portrayal of a teenage girl to be uncannily accurate.

While I don't think Ja'mie is great, this review seems unfairly harsh on Chris Lilley. I thought We Can Be Heroes and Summer Heights High were both hilarious shows which managed to find a surprising amount of emotional depth and insight. Maybe it is a particularly Australian sense of humour though; I know a few people
