Yes we do - daily (headquarters weenie)

I normally try to stay away from politics on this website. But, anyone from G.B. could respond with... “How could a country, who’s form of Government was called the ‘Great Experiment’, form a Democratic Republic (the U.S. isn’t a Democracy), build themselves up to being a Nation that defined the 20th Century, and then

In a world where we have electric SUVs that can go to 60 in the blink of an eye, do we really give a shit about zero to 60 time anymore?

I don’t see what’s so offensive about the Women’s Equal Trade Fellowship of Anaheim, Rosemead, and Torrance.

Or an angry mob of “protesters” is threatening to pull you out of the vehicle and you need to get the fuck out. Ceding control to the car is a slippery slope that I don’t want any part of.

All that $ on an asset that depreciates almost as quickly as a carton of milk? Only drive ~1,000 miles a year? Rent a luxury car for those times you need a car and keep the 3. Or find a killer lease deal.

I have absolutely no problem with the government aggressively pursuing a criminal case against Audi and its culpable executives. Such prosecutions are fully warranted, IMO. However, the prosecution does perhaps seem a bit gratuitous considering similar indictments weren’t sought against GM when it’s clear that company

If it turns out FCA execs and engineers were as scum as VeeDub’s, then pound FCA too. Especially if there turns out to be deserved jail time for the decision makers. Wrote it before, if execs knew they actually faced prison when they violate public trust and have contempt for regulations, this shit wouldn’t happen.

Yep. You’d have to pay someone to take it off your hands.

I kinda like the looks of it. Vaguely reminds me of the Transsport concept, hope the end result isn’t the same.

Winner.

I know many like my self are having their TDIs bought back for more than they paid. I’m being made more than whole and it’s difficult to understand why people are making this harder on themselves than necessary.

If I understood the original article correctly, Joe bought the car with the full intention of it being a “buy-back” or some other form of compensated vehicle. I think it said he bought it after the diesel scandal was made public, but before the settlement was reached. Which meant that he ran the risk of buying the car

HA, yes, serves all those vindictive douche fucks right. I can’t wait to see them all try and remember how to reassemble their cars now. I hope they’ve already sold off tons of parts and get stuck with a lemon they can’t get rid of. Serves those greedy, vindictive jerks right.

I’m not at all surprised. If someone bought a fully assembled VW TDI and VW is buying it back, VW deserves to get nothing less than a fully assembled car in return.

Or Mexico Blue.

Came to say the same. If you can get PTS for a 911R, go nuts.

  • Comes with only white or silver

I’ve never heard of such a thing. Typically those title statuses are for vehicles damaged in an accident. The insurance company determines that the repair expenses exceed the value of the vehicle and it becomes “totaled.” Someone could then buy it at scrap value and decide to rebuild it, hence a “Rebuild” or “Salvage”

This guy is a jerk. You shouldn’t help him publicize his stupid ploy.
