It's really noticable when you actually play the game. I didnt expect to find any difference, but found that it was like wiping the sleep form your eyes. Everything just became more clear and visible.
Tried to see some difference... didn't see any. :/
Nintendo wisely sidestepped this whole issue at the Wii U launch by simply not having anything to put in their console. Hey-ooo!!!!

You mustn't be old enough to remember just how badly the shoe was on the other foot last gen. Microsoft took EVERY opportunity to lambast Sony at EVERY turn, to the point where it ended up looking like a playground bully picking on a weaker kid.
What's so not classy about it? Seems like pretty ordinary marketing to me; emphasize the selling points of your product over the competition.
Think of him like The Simpsons. Their mindsets are still intertwined. They will put on a musical number about their love of musicals, games, Star Wars, etc - they are geeks after all - but they would be remiss not have Homer call them a "dork" after a five minute parade of love.
I don't mind Conan, I think he's funny and I enjoy him making fun of himself trying to learn games. I just think sometimes these come across as pretty condescending to gamers... and stereotypical, too with cracks like "Get your own apartment, eventually."
