The game works fine when the servers are up. Apparently when I tried playing multiplayer last (past Thursday into Friday) they were doing maintenance. I didn't "misconfigure" my router seeing as the multiplayer worked fine when I played the dev build. Either way, the game has issues beyond the multiplayer.

Seems to me that they profit pennies on the dollar for every item sold and they ship everything they sell (unless otherwise posted, in which case they are just a digital storefront). Essentially everything is handled in-house and they make quick sales on so many products giving them quite a bit of overall profit.
