I know they have to save the main villain fight for a finale but it always makes me wonder why these dudes who are clearly more powerful than the superheroes keep hiring henchmen when they can easily swoop in and completely wreck anyone they want. Just like Damien Darhk on Arrow.

You know, after all this build up, a microscopic part of me was hoping that Claire was in hiding. And that Noah had his memory erased so he wouldn't know where she was. And Hayden Panettiere managed to secretly film a five minute scene and it would really close her story and show that she's safe and alive somewhere.
