The calf was a male, correct? So it's not like they could've gotten milk had they remembered to bring him. Even a female calf would've been useless without a male to get her pregnant. I guess they liked keeping him as a pet but he really would've only been useful to them as beef. Obviously the writers knew they'd

I believe so … I think Carol had it on a lead when they first walked up to the lit building where they now live. Carol also painted a portrait of the calf that hangs in their little bedroom.

That definitely would've made the most sense … but since they kept making comments about how small the person was I figured it'd be either a child or an adult little person. Maybe a guest star like Peter Dinklage - who'd be immediately killed off by someone in the gang, a la Jon Hamm.

I was surprised that Yoda turned out to be a child. I thought it was going to be an adult little person, or maybe a very petite adult woman.

Poor kid's probably had enough of White People Nonsense.

"Linda is a fart"

I thought the payoff was going to be that (a) the egg was in one of the kids' Easter baskets all along, since they toted them around and ate out of them most of the episode; or (b) Gene actually HAD eaten the second egg and forgot about it, and the smell was something else.

I've always pictured the Belchers as living in Keansburg.

I'm willing to overlook the gang not mourning Lewis (and Phil 2.0) because they're so used to death by this point.

Yes. STOP ASKING.

Yes - assuming she remains alive and has the strength to drag herself out, they can stretch that plotline across a few episodes.

And, hey, who's to say that Lewis didn't bring down the plane on purpose? Maybe he'd just had enough.

I agree that it was irresponsible of them to push him into the flight as if nothing could possibly go wrong.

Also, why the hell does Phil still have those stupid false eyebrows? Surely his real ones must've grown back by now.

Kenneth Choi did a really great job with that scene where he walks into his old house and sees the photos of himself with Mark. Heartbreaking :(

Even if Gail didn't try to commit suicide with that last bullet, I'd be surprised if she can live due to that accidental gunshot that ricocheted into her leg when she was trying to signal to the gang. She must have lost a ton of blood by now and probably has a massive infection … even if the gang finds her they're not

I didn't at all care for Melissa before this story line. In fact before she started losing it, I was rooting for Melissa to be the next one bumped off.

I knew he would die in the plane, but I didn't expect the plane to *immediately* crash. I thought he'd head for those mountains and crash into them trying to turn the plane around, or he'd take it out for a longer spin and the fuel would suddenly give out (my prediction was that Tandy never bothered to see if the tank

I'm willing to suspend disbelief on this because he was desperate. They're all desperate. He had most likely lost the love of his life, and everyone he ever cared about … he seemed to like the Malibu/Startup gang OK, but didn't seem particularly close to any of them in particular. Phil and Carol have found love with

Then he truly WILL be "The Last Man on Earth" - which is what I think they might be aiming for. Whether he's the last human being alive, or once Todd inevitably kicks off.
