Maybe the virus will come back as a new strain, and wipe out everyone but Tandy? (and maybe Carol)

I can see the finale being Tandy leaving the group (or, more likely, the others deciding to leave Tucson while he is not welcome to join them), and at the last minute Carol decides to stay with Tandy.

How is Melissa a bitch? She's fed up with Tandy's crap and doesn't see a reason to be nice to him … he's done *nothing* but lie and scheme since she met him, in an attempt to bang her when she clearly wasn't interested (first because he was "married" and after that because he was a pig/because a better guy came

The reason why he left in the first place, though, was that things in his life were changing very quickly and he was scared - one of them being realization of how he feels about Amy.

I'll bet you also thought "Vanilla Sky" was brilliant, right?

One of my biggest problems was that they retconned all the scenes with Ted wearing a wedding ring, and then revealed in the finale that he didn't marry The Mother for several years. They just disregarded everything they put the viewers through so they could carry on with an ending they came up with 9 years prior, even

Like one of those magic xylophone skeletons where Itchy strikes the same rib twice in succession but it produces two different notes?

I dunno, I thought those four seconds were plenty, personally.

I was SO annoyed at Rachel Bilson's acting in those couple of episodes. When I watched her, I was very aware that I was watching someone act. Her delivery was so forced.

Robin keeps going back to Ted because she's insecure and wants something reliable. Not because she actually loves him (friendship love, sure, but not a forever love). She had a crappy childhood and her adult life wasn't all that great for a while, so she wants something she can hang onto.

Assume that they meet at the wedding and date for a year, then they get engaged in May 2014. Characters on this show seem to have short engagements, so they could plan a wedding for the end of 2014. Then they might get pregnant right away and the daughter is born in 2015.

I remember they made a point of saying that Stella had met the gang and had "passed with flying colors" … which makes sense that she was the only girlfriend to mesh fairly well with the gang, considering that Stella was a backup Mother if the series were to get canceled at that point. \

I'd like to see a scene where Barney says that he spent an entire day or two in the park trying to find that locket in the dirt for Robin.

If nothing else, they have a few episodes to start it off and see how it goes. They shoot far enough in advance where they can get a few episodes in the can and see what happens.

I was really satisfied with the "No Pressure" episode (the one where there were the dozens of yellow umbrella girls at the end), and the limo ride in "The Final Page" was pretty good as well, so that's why I'm annoyed that they keep rehashing Ted's unresolved feelings for Robin. They should've just saved those moments

Lily thought that Robin had taken the locket to Japan (and lost it there, I guess). She didn't know that it was still in the box on Ted's desk.
