Really loved how they used Gina more as a vessel for possobility and implied importance/symbolisim for Sonya than turn her into an actual character. OVerall this episode was a nice detour up until the point Gina died and than the case came back on the scene literally.
I was 6 when the Puppy Episode came out (HA puns) so it's always interesting reading memories of the times. Man the 90's were such a weird decade.
There's no sense of genre fun in this show. It's all just kinda bland.
WHY Isn't this show like THIS more often!?!?!?!?! The Parrie Home Companion structure made everything sooooo much mroe interesting and also Sorkin didn't go off on Trayvon Martin with a big speech YAY
I'd love it if there was an alternate universe spin-off show where Walt doesnt' become a terrible human being and Hank finds out and instead Walt goes straight but gets into the Car Wash Empire buisness.
Man All I've heard about this show in the lead up is that it's Ray Donvan-esque in how seemingly hollow it is. You are now the 5 (or 6 can't rembere if Grantland has talked about it yet) to basically say all these things. So either yall are right (logical) or you are part of the TV critic nWo and are using your powers…
totally agree with the color pallet of BEware the BAt being to dark for it's own good. There is an issue when ever preview image and clip you release is totally muddy and hard to see as if it's a poorly done 3d film.
Beware the Batman isn't that bad actually, it certainly feels like it's trying to take cues from B:TAS but with a bit of a lighter tone.
It's a bummer that Jeff Leob is sherpording these shows aimed at such childish demo's. DC has shown you can ahve really well done cartoons that hit both young and older demos.
It was perfect delivery to. He manages tos peak without moving his mouth.
That Linder fight was a mix between something from Breaking Bad and Deadwood.
My cock rages at your induction of Spartacus it was a really awesome show
anyone else bummed Sorkin didn't go for cheap heat with Africa by toto? cmon this is a show that did a montage to "Fix You" in an episode called "Fix You". How could he let this chance slip by!?
Yes the Daniel orphanage plot was well worn material but this show is able to earn it's moments. It's the Avatar of prestige television. You knew this was going to happen but it fit nicely together. Maybe I liked it more because the show finally threw in just a smidgen of unreliable narration with Maggie imagening…
Dude that's a bummer because he IS Mr. Freeze to me.
Man bad stuff just keeps happening around or discovered by Mathew Lillard it's like it was writen into his contract "my character must find ALL the bodies"
I really like the Jim side of things, never thought that would happen. Yea it's all a giant critique of embedded reporting but they built it up it happened and than comedy ensued.
I've been calling for an Avengers style cross over between Justified and SOA add this to the list.
Was I the only one who didn't go WTF when Ruiz hooked up with Charlotte? I get that dudes problem is he cares but before his hesitation on describing his marriage in binary terms everything seemed just peachy.
