100% this. Ever since they took cassette players away as an option, Lexus is dead to me.

My first car was an ‘89 Beretta GT with a 5 speed stick, the 2.8l, so I fully understand the sentimental attachment. They weren’t bad, but they weren’t particularly good.

I love cassette tapes. Yes, the quality is usually meh (although it can be astoundingly good on really high-end tapes and equipment) but it’s just such a visceral experience. Nothing on a touchscreen will ever compare to that “ka-CHUNK” when you slide a tape into a car deck, or the hard-earned satisfaction of timing a

Thank you Mazda for not putting that fugly Volgon face on this car.  Now, for us BEV drivers, please put about double the size of battery in it, so we don’t need a range extender to use this beyond a regional vehicle.

I know a few folks that have owned new Alfas and...by all accounts “pretty  decent” would never even be close to their description
