Same here. That looks great and the price is spot-on. I may be interested in one of these.

No. The 5 was already discontinued when we bought our CX-5 and also has horrible small overlap crash test scores and no tech like I want. And, the old school 2.5 doesn’t even get very good fuel economy.

This exactly. I’m a Mazda fanboy. Our household has had a 2008 Mazda3 for six years, a 2013 Mazda CX-5 for seven years, and I currently have a 2016 Mazda6 that I’ve owned for almost six years. I reaaaaalllly liked this when they first announced it, but that has passed. It is too compromised to be useful for me, and I

Common issue on the Lambdas. My mother-in-law has a 2014 Acadia with 88k miles and its A/C hasn’t worked since she got it.

I sincerely hope they don’t leave the U.S., but it wouldn’t surprise me. I’ve had 3 of them and I loved them all but they’re a niche player in the market and they always will be.

I doubt the RWD I-6 thing will come to fruition (as a Mazda, at least) because of the crossover-crazy market in the U.S.

Praise be for me not being born until 1989. My mom had a 1991 Chevrolet Corsica when I was young and it didn’t lose its A/C or start to overheat in traffic until 1997 or so. 😂

Blind spot monitors. My 2016 Mazda6 has them and my wife’s 2019 Toyota Highlander has them as well. We recently rented a 2019 Dodge Charger that didn’t have them and the lack of that feature was really annoying. I guess I could live without it, but not on a vehicle I’m paying for.

Circle K! I enrolled through their EasyPay system and I save 6 cents a gallon. There’s also one about a mile from my house.

Here in rural western Kentucky, it’s business as usual. I filled up my wife’s SUV yesterday (because it needed gas - not because I was panicked), and the station didn’t have a line or anything. But, we are serviced by southern Illinois pipelines, so the east coast situation doesn’t affect us.

Nah. The two Mazda dealers I know of (one is 10 minutes from me and one is 45 minutes from me) both suck and Mazda couldn’t care less even though their tiny market share seems poised to become even tinier. I don’t even allow the local dealer to touch my car (2016 Mazda6) as they primarily sell Fords and just keep 10

1992 Chevrolet Beretta. I know, I know. But I loved these cars. Still do. I got one as my first car in 2006, when I was 16. It was a basic model with the 2.2 GM four-cylinder and a 3-speed automatic transmission. Dreadfully slow. I wanted a Beretta GTZ with the Quad 4 or at least a GT with the 3.1 V6 or a Z26 with the

My mom’s driving style was best described as like Burt Reynolds’ character in “Smokey and the Bandit.” She shifted a manual (while wearing high heels) better than any man I ever knew. She also had a 455 Trans Am in the mid-‘70s, and my uncle (her little brother) said she legitimately scared him in it several times.

This. I’m on my third Mazda (and none have rusted - lol). Will likely have a fourth someday. They just work for me and I’ve been able to get good deals on them because they’re so often overlooked.

Bought my 1990 Pontiac Sunbird two years ago with an in-op factory cassette player. Promptly replaced it with a working unit from eBay. Then, my grandma gave me two briefcases full of ‘80s/‘90s country and rock cassettes. Heaven. I also use my phone as an adapter for music (as you can see) but the cassettes are

Having my Sunbird fully detailed at my friend’s shop and hitting up some local cruise-ins and car shows!

My previous car, a 2008 Mazda3 hatchback, came with Goodyear Eagle RS/A tires from the factory. They were still on there when I got the car as it was just a year old with 12k miles.

As someone who owns, loves, and takes great care of a Pontiac Sunbird of all things, I salute my fellow random old/cheap vehicle aficionado DT and his Vandemic.

I had a Sonic LTZ hatchback as a rental in 2012 when I was in Florida for work. I liked it okay. It had a lot of features I didn’t expect it to have. But, it had zero cargo room and the gas mileage wasn’t all that impressive.

This is interesting.
