Thats why I said “EJ” series, and “hasn’t been an issue in a while”
NP for a bit of strange.
It’s certainly going to turn heads, And any jalop would pay their respects if they came across it in person, I don’t care if they ND vote for it or or not.
The milquetoast styling, CVT, typical utilitarian interior, and gutless engine are why I got a Mazda 3 Hatch instead. The Mazda 3 hatch is what the Impreza used to be.
The Mazda 3 AT is a more old school AT, not some boring CVT, has sport mode and manual gear select. ...it’s fine without an M/T honestly. The 3 is so underrated even Jalops don’t get it. That’s why I love it.
The EJ Series 2.5l N/A are notorious for head gasket leaks. It’s less prevalent these days. This gasket problem is not a common problem on the Turbo EJ 2.5 however. This is why you hear this about Subaru.
I chose a Mazda 3 over an Impreza. More HP, a ton more torque (not gutless all across the range) a real standard Automatic transmission (no CVT garbage don’t care how great they say it is) The 2019+ 3's are stunning to look at, and the interior fit finish and materials blows away every Subaru I’ve ever owned and most…
Mazda 3 comes with AWD option.
The problem with that car is that it only looks good from a 3/4 Side/Front view.
(As pictured). Any other angle (especially the rear) and it looks more like an obese person overflowing the seat on their rascal scooter in a wal*mart.
“when we discussed it with the lower-level operating supervisors and the skilled-trade hourly folks, they told us they could do it... it’s just nobody has ever asked for it before, so they didn’t think it mattered.”
Are you fucking kidding me?
“Make a quality product” = words never uttered by workers or…
I generally agree that the right wheel can really make or break the look of a car. But this - is still ugly.
How fucking dumb are this guys employees? He just shit on every single one of them for working for tips.
But I was assured by his Orange Greatness that this is the best economy in the history of economies, and history, and best, and is, and the.
Perhaps I did, but it doesn’t change my mind on this get-up.
I still have serious reservations about that engine being able to extend the range any usable amount while actually hauling something significant. Using some small displacement engine to regenerate the battery in a Prius isn’t nearly the same as needing to…
that 3cyl motor is going to drink gas like an alcoholic if it has to drive that thing primarily for any length of time, and with an 80 mile range, it’ll be no time at all for most people that own trucks and use them as trucks.
^ He’s Right, you know.
..this model is nearly 20 years old.
I can buy these in the USA too.
And while I owned one of these and loved it dearly, The 06-08 chassis is far and away the better of the two in nearly every respect.
Good God, apparently everyone on this site missed the story a while back about the autojourno that has been driving a CVT WRX for a while now, and actaully likes it better than the Manuals.
It seems to be a duality...
Manufactures sell CUVs, they are pushing teh products people don’t want, and consumers are idiots and…
Subaru has a history of doing this with Legacy and Impreza all the way back to the early 90's. They often promote the Legacy chassis as the next gen Impreza chassis.
You mean unlike watching one 3 hour movie full of battles against an unstoppable evil entity - while the other two 3 hour long movies deal with a bunch of hobbits roaming the land only to end the whole ordeal by simply tossing a ring into a volcano.
