I don’t know how the rest of your relationship is, but there is truly nothing finer than not having to share NONE OF THIS *gestures widely*

Once I was in the loo at the airport and I farted. A woman in another stall said loudly, “That’s disgusting! Who did that?”. I laughed so hard that I farted again and she declared, “I do not have to listen to this!” and stormed out.
Wait, there’s a way to get off the family text chain!?
Honestly, that’s why I loved Damian’s Charmed recaps on Television Without Pity. His vitriolic hatred of the show was incandescent, and a glory to behold. The last 2-3 recaps were liberally peppered with “and then some other stuff happened, but I don’t care, because CANCELED!!!!!!!1!!!” ^_^ Man I miss TWoP.
I feel like I am the only person IMRL (in my real life) who doesn’t watch this dumb show. It looks awful - why the fuck would I want a TV show to make me cry when real life is doing a pretty good job of it already.
Part of me wants them to get far enough on the wall that the Trump Administration eminent-domains a shitload of private property in Texas.
Bobby, I cherish your hatred for This Is Us. It sustains me.
As per some twitter post I can’t find anymore, they should stream the eight randomly to different viewers. Then, once everybody figures out there were different endings, HBO should admit that they shot multiple endings, and say that the number of them is one more than there actually was.
I loved that movie.
“Damn it, Fake Ending #6 with Gendry marrying Podrick, and using their entwined man-flutes to invoke the Power of Greyskull and rule the Seven Kingdoms by divine genital fiat... had the sharpest narrative beats. WE’RE GOING WITH THAT ENDING.”

My husband (early 40's, successful business owner) and I (mid-30's, somewhat professional writer) have been fans of this terrible TV show throughout our entire relationship. Why? It has something for each of us: I love the drama of terrible reality TV, he is an ex-athlete that loves physical competition, and the…
Who made the comment about eliminating him and not feeling bad about it because he’s not the one who knocked up two women? That person spoke the truth. Also, it was Tony’s cousin who got kicked off for getting in a physical and verbal fight with a black woman at the Redemption House, and according to contestants, MTV…
I completely agree. And you could see all of that in their faces as they sat there silently and I think that made it even more sad, at least for me, to watch. Because it’s basically a metaphor for what is going on all around us right now. If they attempt to defend themselves in any way, they become the offender. :(
Thank you for your reply because I could literally talk about this all day.
You know they wanted to say something but just knew it would make the situation different. Once a black man stands up to a white woman, no matter what the woman said, suddenly that man is considered to be in the wrong or intimidating or threatening her, and I’m sure they had to weigh that knowledge against their…
One of my greatest joys in life is that moment when you realize a long time friend is also a long time, unabashed Challenge fan.
She actually dated Rachel for three years! Something I never knew but was revealed in this season of the Challenge.
Right? I just looked it up (to make sure I was thinking of the same Veronica, since I couldn’t totally tell from her picture) and she’s 39. 39!
And, I just looked it up (wasting time at work today), and CT, Johnny Bananas, Derrick and Aneesa are all on this season, too! I think these people have made a career out of…
The reason we watch is because these people have loooong interpersonal histories that are, each season, impacted by a new group dynamic — it’s fascinating. Plus the actual challenges are physical / mental / emotional - it’s a full package Sports Show.
