But then they’ll probably put a hybrid with a 4 banger and get rid of the flat 6.

Wait, is Dave Chappelle allowed to be friends with people the AV Club isn't friends with?

I’ve been saying this for years, other countries will lock own their borders so fast. But when we do it, people lose their minds. It doesn’t matter if the threat is COVID or criminals nor does it matter how low the risk is (the risk is still extremely low that healthy American tourists would “spread” COVID

So let me get this straight: it’s perfectly fine for migrants from Mexico and Central America to illegally come into the US, and private citizens who try to stop them are outlaws and racists, but when those noble Canadians do the same to illegal Americans, it’s the smart thing for them to do?

Their first mission was actually back in March.

Uh, are you new here? They need a 1948 Chevy Fleetline.

We scheduled a family get together at Myrtle Beach one year, happened to be on “Bike Week.” I thought to myself, oh cool, bicyclists getting together, how wholesome. What a sweet, summer dumbass I was.

Word. One of the best things about motorcycling is that it's basically a solo activity.

You sound like a motorcyclist, not a pirate cosplay enthusiast.

I was thinking the same thing. I like riding because I don’t have to be with other people, it’s actually better to be alone. I don’t like group rides or meetups either. Riding my own pace, where I want to go is the best.

I have a four mile drive to the office, over a very significant set of hills. Converting an old commuter bike with a retrofit kit as an experiment resulted in my having put well over 2000 miles on that setup in just under a year. It takes away the inconvenience of riding in warm weather (just dial up the assist, and

Also, e-bikes are getting really nice. A lot of power and speed for ~$1K. A lot of people can get those savings backs in less than a year of commuting. Pre-covid, I was starting to research it to sub my car ~2 days a week.

You are incorrect, the tires are not built to a “shitty standard”. As someone who’s worked in a different professional series, I can tell you that if F1 is at all similar then the previous commenter provides a perfectly accurate depiction of the relationship between tire manufacturers and teams.

How are you quantifying the tires were made poorly v. the tires were designed to last no more than 149 miles and behaved as intended by the design. Drag tires are intended to last 1.5 miles - does that make them of shitty quality? If the argument is that F1 tires should last longer then that’s on the race organizer

This take is patently... wrong.

Shamlessly stolen/reposted from Matthew Somerfield’s twitter.

Perelli is not to blame. At all.

RBR didn’t throw away a victory, they went with their preset plan of pitting late for the fastest lap. No one knew Lewis’s tire was going to blow with less than a whole lap left.

Honestly, how simple do you have to be, to literally equate the action of not kneeling to being against equality.

I, and unless you can prove otherwise all the F1 drivers support equality. This is done by including people in my personal and professional life based on either personality and/or ethics rather than

Im ok with them not kneeling. What is a kneel going to do? It's stupid if you ask me.

How is kneeling at a sporting event going to end racism? Will all racists stop being racist after they see a bunch of F1 drivers kneel?  That’s the missing link?
