Dear so-called “European Citizen”,

Seattle ruined my perception of people driving cars.

The greatest Formula One story you’ve never heard.

I sat in a 2015 Taco TRD Pro at an auto show, and it was pretty cramped in the back seat (even as the double cab). The Tundra TRD Pro (double cab) was ridiculously large in the back seat. Maybe they can find a happy middle ground with the 2016 Taco; it just needs like two more inches of leg room to be comfortable for

He must be a Gawker/Jezebel reader. That term reeks of PC bullshit.

Whenever I see an auto listed a manual on craigslist, I flag it as prohibited. Truck dealers will do this because they know so many people are filtering for manual trucks, on the off-chance that someone changes their mind.

When I hear “locking,” I think it is implied there is both an open and locked setting for a differential. I can’t imagine someone putting a locker on an E34. Do you mean a welded diff, or limited slip, or posi? That seems much more likely in this case.

LMTV (and thus all FMTVs) = RUN AWAY. Utter pieces of shit. Worst turbo lag of any diesel I have ever driven (a lot of military road vehicles, not so much on the civilian side). Worst brakes of any vehicle I have ever driven. Always deadlined. Somewhat comfy seats though.

mfw I see my favorite plane of all time damaged :(

le sigh. I need a replacement for my 2005 LGT 5MT, although a truck may be in my future. Anyone want my car? 124000 miles, Alantic Blue Pearl, non-limited trim.

Honestly I don’t know, I was working in a vacuum from the input and output shafts.

I worked on some interesting gearboxes for the 757 ecoDemonstrator. I think they were for the LE flap actuation system, since they also used some of our existing torque tubes that are common to that general area. Pretty cool stuff, lots of weight reduction.

These responses had some good points, of course take with 1.0gr of salt since they are all uncited:

Reminds me of a flying squirrel for some reason.

737 production is down in Renton (South of Seattle). Everett has 767 (and tanker), 777, 787, and 747. Each have their own production line under the same roof.

Afghanistan is supposed to get them December of this year, but who knows when they will actually be fielded.

Obligatory.

Yeah but everyone and their mother will see an ICBM soar into the atmosphere on radar, and the potential for mistaken intentions would be rather high. With a nuke on a stealth-ish aircraft, no one would be the wiser, and perhaps no one would even know a low yield detonation occurred unless we say it did (only under

2015+ Subaru Legacy 3.6R. Let warranty run out, then put on Raptor supercharger for great success (assuming the 5th gen supercharger works with the carryover engine, or will in 3+ years).
