Well now, we all got our pertinent takeaway.

It was a rumor and it wasn’t Kennedy who was a bad choice to get that rumor going. He supposedly said it to Bill Richardson who has denied it. Rather funny to think that Bill Clinton would be saying this to a Latino but such is the nature of stupid rumor.

Fuck it! I don’t see why people have to apologize for things that made perfect sense to them and to the electorate at the time. It’s fine to look at it now and say that was extreme but crime was extreme. Crack did that.
