I feel like I have to address the thing that everyone - well, not everyone but enough people - likes to complain about, Holdo’s “failure” to explain the plan to Poe. There’s something that a lot of people are obstinately overlooking or just don’t know, and it’s kind of important.

My take on this exactly. I’m 48. At 48 I’m starting to feel a lot like one of those old guys in this and other adventure series that have continued to a next generation - as much as I would like to keep being the dashing young hero who rushes in and saves the day, that’s not me at this point.
