My opinion on fanservice is pretty much personified by Highschool of the Dead. What could have been an absolutely amazing series was ruined by it. The show was still okay, but it would have been so much better if there wasn't an upskirt or a jiggle every thirty seconds.

I never was a huge fan of the God of War games, but Goddamn I can appreciate their scale. The cinematic battles make Shadow of the Colossus feel like Pikmen.

Agreed. I loved the story in 1 and 2, but never played 3. Also, the multiplayer was much more fun in the first game than in the second.

Tried describing this several ways and it didn't really work. Put your hand flat against your nose and move it away from your face about half an inch. If you look down with your eyes, you should be able to see the bottom of your hand at about chin level. That's all the space your really need for a full HUD like that…

Not really. In the original iteration of the game, disasters were part of the game's objectives. A lot of the scenarios focused on rebuilding your city in the wake of a disaster in a time limit. The game DC's after a few hours of inactivity anyway.
