This is a little off topic and maybe outside of Jalopnik’s purview but I’d love to see an e-bike conversion article. I (like everyone else during the pandemic) recently bought an ebike and I’m already half convinced I should convert my dad’s ancient bike.
Zojirushi is amazing. I would buy a car from them if they made it. (do they?)
That’s one of my favorite aspects of the original Superman movies. He is constantly inspiring people to do the right thing. And it is definitely missing in most modern superhero flicks.
Slight tangent, but is there any equivalent to Sheldon Brown in any other industry? He is singlehandedly the expert and resource in bike repair!
Thanks, I definitely think I need to wipe my Netflix profile and start from scratch. I’ve started so many shows that I didn’t like that I only get bad suggestions now. I have to use my wife’s profile to even have a chance at finding something I want. Apparently I’m very bad at judging a movie by its thumbnail.
Style-wise it reminded me of the first season of Legion. The comic book style was fantastic and definitely unique. The show is different but is still stylistic. It is kind of a shiny midcentury modern futura look. In my opinion, the show’s style isn’t as consistently great as the comic but I personally liked it.
I suspect he’ll only be a consultant on Fox until the next GOP president. I’m not sure he will be capable of speaking positively about any other president.
I’m a big fan of using my immersion blender. Put the eggs in a bowl. Immerse the immersion blender and blend! Ta da after about 4-6 seconds, I have frothy eggs and put the blender part in the dishwasher.
I haven't gotten bored yet. The key is for your other car to be a Subaru Outback and a constant reminder of how terrible acceleration can be while also having frequent electrical problems.
Should have gone for the MDiv
At $75k I don’t think it is going to be used for anything but evil.
I think designers need to start moving away from the grill as their main brand language as a whole. Electric cars are only going to become more common and without a way to convey their design through the grill, a lot of brands are going to be doing the fake grills a la early Tesla and current BMW. This is a shame…
Wouldn’t it just be easier and more beneficial to the city to convert parking meters to include chargers?
And this was the exact same thing BMW said 6 months ago right up until they suddenly changed their minds. https://techcrunch.com/2019/12/11/bmw-says-ja-to-android-auto/
Discussion Question: James Cameron was basically given a blank check because the first one made so much money. So with that, he is planning a 4 movie world building series.
Pt 1. Is it possible for a person/movie studio to preplan 3 or 4 movies and have them turn out great? It always seems to be underwhelming or a…
Yeah, they really suck.
You’re just a half step away from sounding like a cyclist.
Sincerely,
A cyclist who likes cars but thinks the roads should be for everyone, not just the biggest one.

I think the reason Apple is investing so heavily in LIDAR on their mobile devices is to pay for development for a product to be used in self driving cars. Whether they are developing their own car, or just building a platform for OEMs, I would bet $7 Apple’s LIDAR goals extend beyond mobile…
I love them too. Maybe this isn’t true, but it definitely feels like any very different design from any car company gets dumped on in the comments section here but this is one I would happily own even if no one else liked them at all.
