Why is road transportation basically the only area where it’s a negative for something that costs a lot of money and resources to be used heavily?

Except they’re not moving away, not with growing electricity generation from coal and coal production in 2017:
Then somebody who today drives a Honda Pilot will downsize to a CRV and somebody who today drives a CRV will downsize to a HRV.
Crossovers are not a fad; they’re already the largest sales segment in North America and by far the fastest growing segment in Europe and Asia.
“learned from the Model X launch and gone with a very streamlined configuration to let production ramp up.”
The difference is when other automakers do this, they don’t call it production and claim it as sales.
People jumped on the early cars because they were already better than the alternatives for transportation, such as walking or animal transport.
The same upside as the US Navy having its submarines visibly show up at ports near North Korea.
And if Tom Clancy’s hype about how quiet US Navy subs is accurate, the needles look just like pieces of hay.
The media leaked everything to ISIS.
Actually, it remains accurate. There is absolutely no indication that Trump said anything about how the intelligence was obtained, even the media has admitted as much.
I might have to, since you’re still telling me a lot of secrets as well, as well as provide a decent amount of my income and provide a lot of neat toys that I sometimes sell off to other people for extra cash.
“little more than the fact that one of our allies recruited a spy somewhere in ISIS held territory”
Though, sometimes the USA does the same thing:
But even for the Iranians to get their hands on you, they would have to fight through ISIS controlled areas to get to you. And the Iranians would know that you exist, but wouldn’t know who you are and what you look like, at least without significant work.
And you realize if the leaker cared about any of that, they wouldn’t have released so much details to the world that Russia, Iran and ISIS can all piece it together.
Both the WaPo and NY Times articles reported that the city was in a ISIS controlled area.
Yes, and it would have been a stupid thing for Trump to tell the ISIS leadership, who of course could figure it. But Trump only told the city to the Russians, who are unlikely to know the details, care or act on it since the city is held by ISIS.
I sure hope this supposed secret city (of which there aren’t that many still held by ISIS) that Trump blurted out wasn’t Raqqa(h), as the US military has already been talking about it since last October:
And if that wasn’t enough for the Russians, the media has kindly filled in all the remaining details. And more than enough for ISIS to figure things out.
