Not at the same rate. It’s pretty typical to replace the 12V battery once a year and tire wear can be very high if you don’t maintain near perfect alignment all the time (as well as frequent rotations).

My definition of high-maintenance is a vehicle that needs to be in service constantly. And certainly Teslas have their own propensity to need constant replacements of 12V batteries and worn tires and alignment work.
The dealership provides the customer facing, selling and service operations for the manufactuer as well as helping out on inventory. If Ford went direct, they would have to pay out of the $1000 for those same services themselves. The dealership most likely adds an extra cost for most transactions but it’s not even…
It’s possible in Canada, Mercedes owns a number of dealerships in the Greater Toronto area for example. The general consensus is the franchised dealerships are better for deals.
Well that’s fortunate since Tesla’s are ultra-high maintenance vehicles with expensive parts that mainly can only be replaced with Tesla parts by Tesla employees or Tesla approved shops.
If you’re willing to pay $26 K for it, then Ford will probably charge you that much for it, especially now that they have to cover some of the selling and other admin costs previously handled by the dealer. The same selling and admin costs that eats up all of the gross profit made by Tesla.
Speaking of which, if Hitler had a Twitter account I’d think some of his posts in late 1943-45 would be awfully a lot like Musks and probably consists of things like:
Peak load in California is in the late afternoon to mid-evening:
And as I pointed out, once you use it as a real truck the range and charging time of batteries makes it a difficult proposition against gas or diesel trucks.
So about as a nice interior as a lower priced MB S class?
Tesla already uses ultrasonics sensors, that’s why the Model S and X’s blind spot sensing capabilities are so terrible.
It might work, unless you need to use the truck as a truck. Towing pretty much destroys the usefulness of the Model X since you need to stop so much.
If you don’t respond to a nag, it’ll eventually slow itself down to a stop and turn on the hazards.
Speaking of what the law says, this is Flordia’s:
“For all we know, the tractor trailer could have pulled out at the last second, not seeing Brown and his car.”
It’s easier when the P85D is essentially geared for 1/4 mile runs and has better traction from AWD. On the other hand, it doesn’t have the top-end acceleration of other 500 HP sedans like a Panamera Turbo S or a M5/M6.
The difference is that the P85D never makes the advertised 691 HP at any point. It’s peak draw from the battery is about 415 KW, or about 556 HP.
“The most googled phrase on 24/06 was apparently “what is the EU?””
Actually, it’s pretty clear from the last 20 years that economists don’t have a clue about what they’re talking about. Monkeys would be better.
