There are credits sequences today that are much longer and more tiresome to sit through (GoT, True Detective, Orange is the New Black, Penny Dreadful… for example).

That low-frequency drop sound in trailers is so corny now.

Sure, Not

The pilot episode is quite possibly the worst 20 minutes of TV ever.

With a terrible theme song too. And Charlie Schlatter chainsawing a cardboard Matthew Broderick as an opener.

Arya should have hidden in Tech Noir.

If they'd showed Arya holding her hand to her stomach and wincing a little, that might have helped. But yeah, running, sliding, jumping, rolling down stone steps…

Like Marvel/TSR's great Dungeons & Dragons animated series?

Having only skimmed the comic book source back in the late 1990s I have no idea who those characters are. The show needs to backstory some things better for non-comic fans to win a larger audience.

Drawing attention to something most people have forgotten about is the opposite of what Axl wants.

That GM check is on its way, Mike.

The feeling of emptiness gets stronger as the season ends (having seen all 13). It's like watching the genesis of a sociopath. Looking forward to more of this show.

*crickets*

Her reunion with Ser Jorah was all too brief. For some obvious reasons, but it would have been nice to have had a few more scenes of them discussing matters together (along with Daario 2.0). Instead it's more wandering the desert and speeches in Dothraki.

Nothing much has changed in Daenerys Targaryen's story. Those epic endings with the big speeches and dragons better start paying off soon.

This is a very good show (having watched all 13), and so impressive considering the 25-min episodes. Love the writing, cinematography, sound design, and performances.

Agreed, I was enjoying the season, but ep13 actually turned me off watching any more episodes (though they're saved on DVR).

Certainly closer than this article's story, that's for sure.

Why are the 'fucks' muted on this show?

It was such a "great idea" the production team was asked to retool the show. "New things" isn't ripping off The Office.
