I had a first season Dexter marathon at the weekend. It's so fucking great to know Dexter used to be really good and the reason I continued to watch it, through good times and very very bad.

They were Miami Metro cops on loan.

But he's the character all the other characters and scenarios revolve around. Without him, no show.

That you believe he's the most interesting says a lot about the other "characters".
