Whatever you think of Trump, The Fred Trump thing is BS. The Klan was marching, but what precipitated the arrests was local residents and police fighting the Klan marchers. Fred Trump was a local resident, and he was discharged without charge.

The problem with escalations is the possibility that your opponents will use the same, or worse, tactics.

Once again, films are generally made by and for people living in the era when the film is made. It would be folly to make a film for the tastes and morals of some audience decades in the future.

Collectivization is an important aspect. People tend to not be very keen on their property being collectivized. That is a key reason why socialism always fails. People resist collectivization, so force is employed. Always.

Most of those places are not socialist. In all but one, the economy is driven by private business. People own homes, farms, and businesses. Having social programs does not make one socialist.

HS athletic performance is not just about the US Olympic team. When one of my kids applied for a military scholarship in medicine, HS sports performance was one of the factors.

They are not supposed to, but having a driver’s license makes it easy for them to do so.
