I love reading. I spent five years working for and then managing a network of book blogs for a major bookstore chain.

I have managed to finish maybe 10 books (including novellas) since the pandemic began. I do agree that reading is therapeutic, but it can be hard to focus on right now.

Is it truly anime or are the breasts realistic and do they avoid panty shots?

Gee, I dunno, after centuries of marginalization, erasure, persecution and abuse, I think it’s perfectly fine for people to feel a twinge of pride when a celebrity announces they’re part of your group, particularly when doing so even today can result in backlash, hatred and mistreatment.

I love this guy so much.

His Bond films have been uneven in quality, but he’s always been great in the role, even if he looks like he’s always wearing a suit that’s two sizes too small.

Craig’s tenure may be over, but Crymonds are Forever.

I’m hoping this season introduces Coagula, one of the first trans superheroes.

Ah yes, the classic “you should’ve known there’d be a breach of trust you big baby” argument. Airtight.

Yes, it is good actually to be completely unchanged and pointlessly bitter for two decades. That is how to live.

During the televangelist heyday I had a High School girlfriend whose mother, who was living on a fixed income, would send her money to these people. They were dirt poor, barely getting by, but she would become so moved by Tammy Faye’s pleas in particular that she’d pick up the phone and contribute hundreds of dollars

I was wondering if the dead body was Gene Hunt!

American jingoism is a long tradition that predates the boogeymen we pretend we’re different from.

Personally I was just waiting for his chair:

It’s truly hilarious to see people expose their own ignorance and then just chalk it up to “wokeness.” “It can’t be that I’m just dumb and ill informed. It’s that damn Gen-Z. They’re to blame.”

I dunno, probably similar to the word you’d use to describe someone who volunteers as a hall monitor for blog posts that absolutely nobody forced them to read.

Wowe, someone took the article personally

Your autocorrect is nicer than you are.

The irony of denying the existence of systemic racism while engaging in systemic racism

Ok bro. I’m sure that the people who lined up for hours during a pandemic in the Georgia heat find your insight to extremely helpful. Perhaps that’s not a sign of good faith or intelligence. Unlike your complete refusal to consider the human cost of your ideas which it the height of good faith and intelligence.
