Finally managed to watch the episode and somewhat catch up on the comments.

Hmm, we did see their future selves revisiting old places and waving at their past versions. You're right, it could be a misdirect. I just don't want another Donna situation. I'd prefer if their great arc didn't get sullied by an overly angsty ~tragic ending~.

Yeah, that one's really intense. And the jazz-influenced tracks with that traditional Asian feel are so lovely.

And apparently the Ponds will "leave in a final encounter with the Weeping Angels". I don't know, but for once I'd actually like to see a non-dramatic departure.
