“cultural appropriation” is limited to America.... Go to Japan and wear a traditional kimono as Caucasian, and the Japanese will celebrate sharing their culture with you. Wear on in America as a Caucasian and all of a sudden you’re racist, even though not a single Japanese national would be offended...

I’ll start this by saying that anyone is free to feel insulted by whatever they feel insulted by. But I - an Asian-American living in a third world country - really think this criticism is stretching a bit.

Yet this site name is Kotaku. If there is a sense of irony about “appropriation” being ignored here... *shrugged*

What a fantastic design that I never want to encounter again. And I love crows!

If the devs came out tomorrow and said, “sorry, those gross giant blood crows in the Mogh Mausoleum area were actually dungeon bosses that accidentally spawned in the open world,” I would 100% believe them.

Dude OMG - the Birds!! Those big crow like birds in Caelid. Those things are terrifying - with there big over sized heads and gangly crow bodies. They freak me the hell out. The first time I came across them, I was genuinely creeped. The way they are just perched up on their spindly little tree branches too, just

That gives new meaning to the story of Akuma beating Shen Long and Ryu's quest for revenge.

So THAT'S Shen Long.

After playing through “It Takes Two” and constantly having godawful cutscenes and terrible constant dialogue shoved down my throat for extended periods in between short segments of fantastic gameplay, I welcome the Fromsoft approach of being almost pure gameplay with the story being something that you don’t have to

You’ve got this strange idea that socialism is about dictating the maximum standard of living when it’s far more about ensuring the minimum standard of living be raised.

Socialism doesn’t mean someone can’t get modestly wealthy.  It means you can’t get wealthy off the work of other people, which is the core component of capitalism.  As long as he is paying his employees the actual value of their labor, there is no hypocrisy.

No amount of consumption under capitalism is ethical. The person who can afford a $20k car can afford a $2500 car and give the rest to charity as well.

Do people expect him to donate 90% of his income and live in artificial poverty for the sake of an image?

It also doesn’t help that Hisui Region, and by extension the Sinnoh Region, is on based on Hokkaido. And that the Imperial Japanese government annexed and colonized Hokkidaido from the indigenous Ainu people and forcibly assimilated them. I get it in my heart. Oda gets 1 week off every month, on top of any breaks the magazine itself takes! But I prefer it that way, I’ve read of so many mangaka who have died early deaths due to overworking, or have developed chronic pain issues.
In fact, I would prefer it if WSJ added more series and just staggered them

For comparison, the Top 10 for the last few Nintendo consoles:

Nintendo also released the Top 10 best selling Switch games.

She’s never appeared on the convention circuit, because “no one’s ever really asked.” She was dismayed to hear people thought she might be dead.

Hey I’m actually the person who posted the thread on reddit! I just got messaged about it and I’m so happy someone with much better investigative journalism skills took up to contact her! Your article has made my whole year better!
