If I go see this movie, I may cry through the whole thing. That book meant so much to me. I read it over and over. I don't have time this weekend to go see it, but if I do get to it while it's still in the theater I will have to go alone, and preferably when the theater is almost empty. Who wants to see an over

Thats's the Sophie's choice of it all. It's not so simple as wanting to save a sweet and innocent little kid. They have to weigh a lot of factors. It's horrifying, and it can seem so unfair, and I would NEVER want to have that job.

Lindy—I can't even. While I'm sure you are able to wade through this bullshit with aplomb, I offer my angriest GIFs, strongest words of condolence, and raised feminazi fist of solidarity.

I'm game but only if the plot is about a cat getting carted around the international media for no sane reason by it's owners when all it wants is some goddamn kibble and a warm windowsill.

I love how everyone is rambling on about how different Portia looks and no one bothered to mention Jason Bateman's face. (He is veering into some Rob Lowe in Behind the Candelabra territory) Or the fact that David Cross is about 50 lbs heavier or that it's been less than 10 years, but Steve Holt looks like he aged 25

Just goes to show that when we get older, we just become more defined by our most blatant characteristics. And Lewis has always been obnoxious and dickish, even with all his charity work.

I was about to post something similar when I saw your post. I'd like to add that men are allowed to lower themselves to the lowest common denominator and then come back up. Once a woman lowers herself, she often is not allowed to come back up. I feel there's a similar dichotomy between whites and minorities.

Well doesn't that just say it all. I've long been of the opinion that the absence of women in comedy isn't just about sexist audiences/comedy club owners, it's about the way we as a culture see women. Genteel, delicate symbols of loveliness that should never "diminish their qualities". But comedy isn't about

Probably for the same reason all "believers" don't go do extremely dangerous things that put their life in great danger so they can die and get to the afterlife more quickly. Both groups of people actually enjoy living or at the very least are afraid of death. Your comment is so flippant and moronic I am actually

I'm going to blatantly copy/paste something I saw on my Facebook feed today, but it's very accurate, especially the last part about how the only hands you see helping and saving people are human hands.

"It’s an unpopular topic in many circles, but in the aftermath of the devastating tornado that ravaged Moore, Oklahoma

"And do you suppose your neighbors who may have died were insufficiently thankful to Him and were denied His tender mercy as a consequence of their lack of faith?"

I'm involuntarily not thin. I lack the innate ability to personally take the steps to lower my weight and get thin and hot. Because of this, my life has been harder in many ways, and I've been denied the right to a full and happy life so achievable to thin people. I demand the government buy me a nutritionist, a

You know, if he continued down this line of thinking outside the realm of a movie review, he might actually say something interesting about how our society teaches men to try and control women via their sexuality. And if he did, I bet a few dudebros might actually have a light go on upstairs.

People! Stop saying you (or your children) have flown more than "any pilot." Unless you ARE a pilot, that is simply not true. And it's annoying.

I'd prefer we didn't always feel the need to list people's physical attributes in general.

Zoe is beautiful and thin. She will never lack for anything and will be sought out and sought after her entire life.

Thank God they're finally making being thin and beautiful socially acceptable.

Those people must have Blubber for brains.

But It's Not the End of the World. Judy Blume's books will be with us Forever, and I'll read them all aloud, in order, tonight. (Then Again, Maybe I Won't.)

True. Bub's dude is an all around solid guy (publicly, anyway). Hard act to follow.
