#1 Pretty in Pink screengrab. Well done.

I so appreciate your comment. I’m a survivor, like her, and I developed an eating disorder as a result. This story is hitting me hard, in ways I can’t fully understand at the moment. I’m confused about what constitutes “surviving,” and what my obligations are for “getting better,” and to whom. I feel more hopeless…
Came here for this, thanks.
Oh wow, that trailer destroyed me. As a survivor, I’ve felt drawn to this story and these courageous women. I’m so glad Erin Lee Carr and HBO are telling this story. This stops now.
Yes! Thank you for pointing that out! And for your hard work as well.
Oh my gosh, well thank you for reading my screed. I guess I needed to get it out and try to spread more accurate info.
That is an amazing last day story. Go you!
I just.
Yes, I totally agree about Notre Dame/South Bend. It’s interesting considering IUSB is there too. I guess IUSB has been too “commuter” to have a real community spring up around it, and ND is too removed from South Bend itself? Who knows.
You’re not wrong.
Hey! Native here, too. Did you stay in your new town?
I hear that. I grew up in the South Bend area and there’s a reason I moved away at the first opportunity.
I don’t get how being in Playboy is really empowering. It’s playing into systems of oppression but ok.
Good question!
Well thank heavens Youtube demonetized those videos. Priorities!
“Lindy’s abortion experience made me put the book down for a few minutes in anger and frustration. The fact that she acknowledged her privilege in that scenario didn’t make it any more tolerable.”
I’m still mad about Whoopi Goldberg losing for The Color Purple in 1985 and then they gave it to her for... Ghost?!!?!!
Although Geraldine Page was goddamn magnificent in A Trip To Bountiful. Not mad at her. That The Color Purple was completely shut out was a travesty, though. And for Out of Africa, a paean to coloniali…
She can be besties with that Kent State gun girl now.
Thank you. I am sooo tired of the way Netflix is manipulating all of us into working for their marketing team without pay. And this is the grossest campaign yet.
This wins everything, but let’s not forget when he tries to lock Carrie in his car on Sex and The City:
