The point is some young women, Millie Bobby Brown in this case, are uncomfortable being treated as sex symbols and find it creepy that not only do people literally count down the days that they can openly objectify her but we as a society actively encourage it.

They want the government to legislate what religion we practice, who we get to marry, what we do with our own bodies, what words we are allowed to say. In short, they are coming for our books, our thoughts, our right to vote, our freedoms, our democracy.

The biggest hypocrisy here is that once again, the party of “keep the gubmint out of my life” is forcing a secular religious belief as law onto EVERYBODY in the country.

Oh mark my words, Republicans will succeed because they are legion. They have the discipline and are more than willing to play the long game. Anyone not conservative will continue to ignore mid term and non presidential elections, and like the fuckasses that they are, will also wonder how the hell this could happen.…

It’s almost as if we need to codify these fundamental rights instead of relying on the Supreme Court.
