Replace DNF with any pretty much any other game and they'd still have fun.

Yes, it's perfectly fine. Just because a lot of people enjoy it doesn't mean everyone will.

A lot of people are complaining about the speed. It's far too early and far too under developed right now for HTML5 to be where it should be. Not long and proper game libraries will exist. Not to even mention browsers starting to become capable of hardware acceleration.

@DKjunglebeat: I actually, I played Gears 1 and 2. I don't think it'd be fair to critique these games if I hadn't at least given them a shot. I even beat both of them, but only because of co-op. Does it have different environments? Yes. Are any of them enticing? No.

One of the things that has been pissing me off is how gaming publications don't even understand the difference between graphics and aesthetics.

If it's under 400... I'd be OK with it.

Or do a complete switch to keyboard for ultimate productivity increases.

I still believe that if I am paying for Gold, I shouldn't see ads. I think I need to start filtering at router level.

I seriously wish reviews had to buy off the shelf. It guarantees more independence. Especially when I read PC hardware reviews I'm always sceptical as I know all the stuff sent to them is vetted as top of the bin before being sent out. If they grabbed one off the shelf, we'd have a more even scale.

I'd probably just put up a power strip, though currently I have some usb outlets that charge almost anything mobile nowadays.

@Flesseck: I really doubt that. I'm just being honest. It's a game series that simply does not deserve the praise it gets.

@DKjunglebeat: I don't really like any of the games you listed. Final Fagfest needs to be killed as the games are utter shite now. 9 was the epitome that can never be reached again. Halo had one decent game and that was the first. CoD I loved 1 and 2 and sort of liked 4, but it gets old real quick.
