@dragonfliet: I think it's because the hardware isn't 100% finalised.

@Maave: The screen would be the most important aspect for comparison and also adds a substantial cost to the price. Sager has nothing worthwhile below 15 inches and likely never will because people buying "gaming laptops" are not interested in screens that size.

@Steven Hott: I think it may actually have to do with DLC and the like, not the game itself. Like the DLC is exclusive to XYZ and Steam terms say they won't host the game if it isn't available via Steam?

@welshyroxs: The only thing I don't like about ale is they want to turn all of gaming into a service, rather than goods. That would change a lot of laws currently protecting the consumer.

@HitNail: I don't know where you live, but 3G is slow and I'm told it's because the bandwidth for all the users simply isn't available. While I know a lot about tech, not much about "cellphone tech", I really don't see why one would go with 3G instead of 4G. True 4G, not this faux shit they are currently hawking.

@gurfinki: There was plenty wrong with it and certainly one can partly fault some aspects of the gameplay though I am willing to overlook those, it's the rest that was rubbish. The "story" they tried to force into a franchise that is all about atmosphere. It's like they were trying to squeeze that absolutely god awful…

A lot of stuff being thrown around in the comments here by people that just don't know what they are talking about, but that's OK, there are enough good comments to offset it all.

@PajamaSam: Dx 11 is about more than just tessellation. It's about better performance. Dx 11 does the same stuff 10 and earlier does, just more efficiently.

@darkside31337: Either way, it will have evolved past either of those tow cards and with allowing more low level coding, devs will be able to squeeze out a hell of a lot more performance. Consoles tend to be more powerful for a year or two than the average PC and I doubt this will be much different.
