I can sort of see these as movies, if and only if they stay away from the games. Base them in the world, use the themes, but don't use the characters or scenarios. For SC it could work, but the others? I don't really see it without pissing off the fans.

Honestly, I expect software to come with an update checker now. I love the way it is in Opera because I can set it to auto-update, auto-check or completely ignore. I hate the way VLC does it.
