@Pezdispenser: Games themselves don't even touch 4GB.
@Pezdispenser: Games themselves don't even touch 4GB.
@B-Money: I was just going to be like, Crytek is German, what's this UK business. I didn't realise Free Radical was renamed.
@I'm leaving a: I wish people would stop with this "you need 4GB for the OS" bullshit.
@Kaneda: MGS is rubbish if you ask me. No fun in any way.
@crabperson: Most PC monitors are actually running at around 1080p. 1680x1050, 1920x1080 and 1920x1200. The 2560x1600 monitors cost like 1500, so not that many people use them. Same goes for multi monitor setups.
@Luke MacDonald: You're right. Different architectures always create backwards compatibility. It's not like PCs where the same base instructions set is kept and worked around with some expansions here and there.
@Altima NEO: True. For modular consoles to work they have to be determined to keep the same base around for a set period of time, then when the RAM/GPU/CPU/etc expansion comes a long, they have to start making games that no longer support the base, or only in a limited fashion.
@SanjiX: It's probably because the comment system is so laggy, they didn't see the other responses.
@Chaosquack: You don't know squat. Move along.
@Afrocass: If you don't know, don't talk?
@The Sentient Meat: Too slow.
@Illegitimi-non-Carborundum: I cannot recommend Apple as they are a horrible company.
@ThistleDog: The only advice I have is to turn on some good music and relax. Do not stress yourself too much.
@justagigilo85: I don't like them. I don't like any foam mattress. They give me a sinking feeling. It eventually settles, but by then I'm already annoyed.
@Karth is Ego Tripping: True, RAM has never been expensive, but it was still pricier back then than it is now. You paid significantly more for less. If I remember correctly, this was when DDR2 was still the new stuff and cost a significant amount more than DDR1. Plus 2GB cost more than 4GB does now. If you look now, a…
@Poul Wrist: Yeah, I remember that.
@greatsage10001: But only because there isn't as much interface overhead.
@HenSoThor: Are you sure that's all game and not the underlying OS? It's important to separate the two numbers.
@RUL-Mongerty: Sorry, but you made a very foolish statement.
@phantomlink: If the Super/Mega Wii ships with just 512MB, it's like signing a death wish.
