If you don't like the short hair look Brian, I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands. I'd even pay S&H.

I still haven't played Farmville. Or any other Facebook game.

Coincidentally enough, the car the NASA balloon flipped over was a Challenger.

@luckycharms: I looked around for a long time. I have every setting I can find set on "friends only", and "likes" STILL comes up.

Everything but "likes" is empty or error-messaged. And by "likes", it looks like it's actually "fan pages".

I have my wi-fi router set to broadcast in both g and n, because it n seems to be a bit finicky with some computers while g seems to work just fine.

@Whitson Gordon: It also returns error messages for some things that require the user to be logged into his account for, such as "home" and "feed".

Emulators.

I'm bookmarking this in case of future hard drive accidents, and then hoping that some disaster doesn't befall the servers where X-marks save their data while my hard drive is eating my bookmarks folder.

I just picked up Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 this weekend. I have never played either of them, and finals start next week.

I'm all in favor. Can I send Patrick Roy's son to go beat up opposing players who don't want to fight?

I'm surprised you guys didn't mention the "sweat it off" hangover cure.

@whiteflea: Oh god, TAKS. My favorite part of TAKS was my senior year of high school when we didn't have to take it and just fooled around instead.

@Posco Grubb: Exactly. Downloading from mirrors or other websites offering the download can be fishy at times. That would be a good situation for using checksums off the developer's site.

I'm surprised you guys didn't mention checksums at all. Maybe that's not as much as an option for smaller utilities, but if you download a program, couldn't you check it against the MD5 or whatever from the developer's site?

@xcalibr: Now that you mention it, I do remember the cubicles in Rocket HQ. Gosh, that was easily 10 years ago for me.
