@Merricat: Thanks for the clarification. I may have to end up dealing with the splitters and codecs and such, because it doesn't look like I can extend Boxee thru my Xbox 360. Do you recommend any splitters/codecs by chance?

Does Boxee play .mkv files? WMC seems to have trouble with those. I tried googling around awhile back to see if I could somehow get .mkv to play on WMC, but it involved installing shady looking plug-ins and splitters and whatnot, or playing around the registry, neither of which I felt comfortable doing to my brand new…
