@Carmine T. Guida: The Xoom is the G1, the nexus one, the nexus S of android tablets. It's a milestone and a first of its kind. This is THE tablet to get if you don't want an iPad.

If they had even just one perfect port between ps3 and ngp where you could swap out game saves to continue your game on the road ....

@usedtowork: That is the slickest thing ever. I need that.. NOW.

@snitch: if you do that on your ipad you have to 'transfer purchases' and all that crap to get it back on your computer. I think that's what they mean with no synching for app purchases.

@rex7: This is a good idea of sorts if you are incredibly intimate with those people. However, know they would have access to YOUR registered IP, ignoring the fact that there's a good possibility you would be breaking several international laws. I say possibility, since I do not know if there is an Egyptian law to do

@Xelotath: Just taking the piss at your comment mate ;)

@LegacyCrono: aksually rounded up it's 728 minutes but I'm not going to be anal since there's luckily someone on gizmodo who can actually do basic arithmetic and it makes me happy

@Biokinetica: And my question is... so? Microsoft office is THE office consumer suite. Suites such as these exist for those who don't want to pay for them. For almost all people who will download this, it's because they want a free alternative to microsoft office, not because it's "open", they just care it's free. I

@drewkkake: Best comment+username combination dear sir.

@das7002: I'm not saying it's of the same percentage value to those "rich" people. I'm saying that money is money, no matter how much you have of it. 100 dollars remains 100 dollars no matter how much you've saved up. This "bitching" of yours is not about pennies, it's about 10,000 of them. Not all rich people have

@Biokinetica: Considering every office suite that people actually use supports docx, I think it's a pretty substantial format. Nobody really cares that it's not 'open'... it's being used by everyone which makes it the standard, even though it's not 'open'

@Navin R Johnson: Even for a millionaire, $100 is substantial. It's a week's worth of groceries, no matter how much you make.

@Xelotath: I know what you're talking about but please use correct grammar and a single post.

@snownpaint1: Yes but you do realise, some things are becoming completely defunct over time. I personally never learned how to use a slide rule because we all have calculators now. That's just one example where technology has replaced other educational tools. As technology is becoming increasingly convenient to use,

@Adam Plante: Last time I checked cydia (i gave my touch away) over a year ago and all the themes worth downloading had screenshots... so unless it's changed for the worse since last year I doubt that's the case.
