The nerd press is going to stay mad that Nintendo decided that to not make a Mario movie for middle-aged nerds.

I meant to type “The world is a vampire”. Talk about an epic brain fart.

Honestly, one of the most fitting ways for him to go. Good riddance.

Looking forward to the series finale with special guest star Anakin Skywalker

hum Kitridge and that computer guy are being brought back from M:I 1? Wonder what’s in store. Also I really loved the dry humor from that movie:

Eugene Kittridge : You and I know about this, that’s where it stops. You understand? It never happened.

I’m a grown man and have zero interest in these but damn if it doesn’t take me back to having the 90's TMNT figures. This looks like it would be a heck of a lot of fun for a kid.

So much of the writing around it is ragebait, too. When it’s not contrarians writers trying to provoke arguments (sorry, “engagement), it’s reactionaries bemoaning that the films “went woke”. None of the discourse feels genuine anymore.

Why can’t we just get a third del Toro movie?

I’m not too worried about it because I’m working under the assumption that movie is never getting made.

>Don’t worry, Fire Emblem traditionalists: It’s still fairly easy to commit fratricide in this game.

Exactly. And it irritates me to no end that James Gunn, a self-proclaimed aficionado of film, particularly 80s horror comedies, denies ever having seen Night of the Creeps.

I can see his point, it’s a silly title.  Calling it ‘Glass Onion: A Benoit Blanc Mystery’ would at least make more sense.

Thanos’ facial expressions after he stabs Tony Stark and says “I hope they remember you” are so well done. It shows a glimmer of respect and also annoyance that this “lowly human” put up such a fight.

I mean, it’s not surprising that you can create better animation when you have 11 fucking years to render, my man. Marvel puts out 3-4 movies and god-knows-how-many-by-now streaming shows every year. They don’t have the luxury to work on every single frame for a week*, as you probably had.

The final shot of Infinity War, where Thanos sits and looks out over his garden, to me conveys exactly what Cameron is talking about when he mentions ‘being able to see the inner dialogue’ of a character. You can see that he’s reflecting on a job well done, and that he’s at peace. The MCU VFX aren’t always perfect,

It’s Jack Ryan.

Yours, maybe but not mine. I'd get that checked out if I were you.

I love Mads Mikkelsen in everything, he’s a great actor, but if you put him behind a mask you take away 90% of his acting tools. This post is almost longer than all of his lines in Valhalla Rising and Arctic combined.  The dude needs his face.

“When are we getting the X-Men?”
