There’s way too much going on here, and it’s easy to pick out the elements Snyder is stealing from other franchises. We’ve got actual lightsabers, some dude wearing LoTR armor in a field, a guy with an Avatar-esque connection to an animal, etc. I’ll watch, but expectations are super low.

it’s curious that Amell was at a convention to, apparently, talk about the latest season of his new show. Was he given some special waiver? Aren’t actors not supposed to be promoting struck work at conventions?

Guests coming out of Universal Monsters: Unmasked: “I didn’t see the invisible man...”

I tried to watch it, but I couldn’t finish it. It felt like a superhero film from another time: uninteresting villains that don’t even exist in the comics, predictable action beats, etc.

Someone should tell him three Xs are cooler than one and see if he buys those domains.

If you’re not pulling my leg, that’s a cool fact.

I have a hard time with random musical/dance sequences. As someone who doesn’t really like musicals because the idea of people breaking into song and dance in everyday life is strange, it’s even weirder when shoe-horned into scifi or historical epics. That said, I’m not the audience and that’s OK.

The series will stream exclusively on Extension 765 on July 17.

To your point of “What if X was actually a bureaucracy?” Inside Out, Soul, and Elemental look like the same movie on paper. I have no interest in watching that take yet again. The last Pixar movie I thoroughly enjoyed was Coco. Toy Story 4, Soul, and Onward were entertaining, but nowhere near as good as Pixar at its

I just came here to say I love this movie so much and want to see more Nimona adventures!

Chaplin is so good, but that was during RDJ’s dark times, no?

When Gravik shot G’iah, all I could think was “again?” There are a limited number of female characters, and Secret Invasion keeps knocking them off. If it’s a show about Fury and Talos, that’s fine. They have great chemistry, and I love their scenes together. But man, we don’t need horrible deaths to understand why

In Dogman, does the man get in a horrible accident and have a dog’s head grafted onto his body? And if so, does he begin working as a police officer?

The first movie is so underrated. I watch it every October.

Talos becoming the new Fury isn’t a bad idea. Ben Mendelsohn is amazing.

Also came here to say this. The Crazies’ and Planet Terror’s hospital scenes are also worth mentioning.

Amen.

I have the GO and GO2, and they get ridiculously hot when recording. The GO actually got overheated and crashed the first time I used it in the field. That said, the GO2 is definitely cool and better than the first. I’m fighting the urge to pick this up. I wish they still had a trade-up program

Yeah, when Mutt starts swinging through the trees, it kills the rest of the film for me.

I believe that if they ended the opening with the military showing up after the rocket sled part and tightened up the third act (including removing the part where Mutt is swinging through the trees with monkeys), it would be a damn good Indy movie. There’s a lot in there to like. But yeah, Spielberg went a little too
