I didn’t realize the company’s history went all the way back to 1889, let alone the 1950s. I was seriously confused by this post until I did some Googling. Very cool, but also a bummer that the cards didn’t survive.
YES! I watched this intro every single time.
This is how we know this is fiction:
Spoiler: Michael Myers dies ... or did he? A doctor shows up to revive him, with unintentional consequences. Find out what happens in the next film Halloween: Myers vs. Morbius.
Remembering when I criticized this movie for being another animal learns martial arts film and people jumped on me in the comments, defending it. Where are y’all now?
While some may have liked to see the director take these classic characters in a gory direction
Aside from his conversation with Will in the last episode, Jonathan is devoid of personality. Dude has the same expression in every scene. Anyone who picks Jonathan over Steve is insane.
I can’t see them killing Steve because fans like him. Jonathan on the other hand...
He’s being polite. It’s pretty obvious why Tim Allen wasn’t in it. Remember when he asked conservatives to boycott ABC when it canceled his terrible sitcom?
I’ve only done six or seven runs, made it to Elysium, and I’m already tired of the game’s mechanic. I know people love this stuff, but it just feels like Grinding: The Game. If the game is trying to make you feel his despair when starting over, it certainly achieves that.
Someone pointed out in another article, why do characters like Reed and Peter Parker look different in other universes but Strange (and Christine, I guess) always looks the same?
You might be alone on that Star Trek opinion. Captain Pike forever! (OK yes, he will suffer a terrible accident and be disfigured forever)
Yeah, I really liked the creepy and campy aspects, just disappointed they sacrificed an established character for all of it. When you think about it, Wanda has been in four movies and a TV show. She had an arc from super villain lackey to hero and then conflicted hero. What she did to Westview was wrong, but it’s not…
So I finally watched Dr. Strange, and it was ... fine. They really messed up Scarlet Witch. I would’ve preferred a version in which Dormammu (remember that guy?) was seeking America’s power to conquer the multiverse and managed to convince Scarlet Witch to help him at some point during the movie. But they went full…
It is very reminiscent of the scene toward the end of TERRIFIED where the cop is fleeing the house. It looks fantastic.
Yeah, I’ve seen the MacReady figure (at Target of all places!). There’s supposedly a convention-exclusive NECA figure that recreates the figure from the poster. The Blair Monster was through McFarlane, and I think you can only find those on eBay for around $100 bucks.
The Thing is absolutely one of my favorite movies, and it bums me out to no end that merchandise can be really hard to find at conventions, stores that carry pop culture merch, etc. Like Halloween? You can find merch everywhere. Friday the 13th? Same. IT? Trick or Treat?
This strikes me as more like the Ghost and the Darkness.
This list is missing Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco.
