Prisoner here, too, and it’s a great class. The magic missile is fun because it has a casting delay. I have casted it, only to have enemies with shields advance past the cast and get backstabbed by it.

Does he seriously attack with a bouquet of flowers? I’ve learned from previous Souls games not to attack NPCs because that sometimes closes you off from powerful items/paths.
The rest of the band hated him so much they reformed as XEB without him. It has something to do with Jenkins forming Third Eye Blind Inc. and funneling profits from the band to the corporation, which only he controlled. He’s a real piece of work.
I knew about Screaming Trees, but I only got into Lanegan through his work with Greg Dulli (Gutter Twins, assorted Twilight Singers tracks). This is sad news. RIP.
I didn’t love the monster, but the tension is fantastic. And there’s one cringe-inducing gory scene. It’s a little like The Thing on a boat.
The theft involved scrolling and right-clicking.
Aww, man. I love Kurt Vile. Music is so subjective.
Olwen Fouere was also in Sea Fever, which is worth checking out.
But can we talk about Julia Garner’s bizarre, off-putting accent? I can’t watch a single episode without cringing. That can’t be what Anna actually sounds like.
James Marsden was great as Cyclops, he was just given nothing to do.
I wouldn’t say she can’t sing. That’s a bit harsh. But she adds some kind of twang that makes her a little pitchy. Also the single above, “No Reason,” sounds overproduced.
I’m all for criticism. I’m not for grandiose statements from critics about how everyone agrees with them that a piece of pop culture is dead when it’s really everyone in their bubble.
Yeah, that’s on me. I should’ve written “Can critics stop ...” Also what’s with Kinja screwing up my link? I edited the comment and everything looked OK, but it still posted gibberish.
I’m referring to the author’s opening line that “there was a time when many people were very excited about Star Wars.” People are still excited about Star Wars. If they weren’t, there would be no Star Wars.
Can we stop dumping on Solo and Star Wars in general? People like the movies, they like the shows. Do they like all of them? No. But that’s fine. I love the MCU, but I don’t love every single movie or show. You don’t have to be a fan of every single thing that gets released.
Not to wax philosophical on the topic, but this movies seems full of it.
JR: What Zelnaj was saying is that his new book “How to Serve Humans” is about community service.
Update:
I gave up. The only song that stood out to me with that Parish/Souljacker energy was the second track. It’s overall another boring record with, as the review states, no memorable hooks.
I’m right there with you. I was a HUGE Eels fans. I saw him live multiple times, including the “With Strings” tour, which was great. Blinking Lights was his last really great record. I’ll give this one a shot because John Parish is back, but I’m not getting my hopes up.
I’m convinced John Lennon would’ve been that guy.
