BTW, it was Jael that (originally) killed with a tent peg in the quiz.

The plotline with The Twelve starts to remind me of GK Chesterton’s The Man Who Was Thursday, where the detective infiltrates the Anarchist Council, only to ultimately learn that the council is entirely composed of undercover detectives pointlessly at war with each other

May forgiving Villanelle so quickly after nearly being murdered by her is not even trying to have characters that act like real people anymore. I don’t know what this show is doing right now, but it’s terrible.

I really liked this show back in season 1. Obviously a lot of shows lose quality as they go on. But its still been a really sad decline for my point of view. If this was not the final season I would have packed it in and stopped watching. But even in this final season it seems we still have more wheels to spin,

You misspelled “Zach Braff”. I suppose Meyer could play whichever of the two Braff doesn't. Skeets would probably make more sense for Braff, since he would only have to do the voice.

I’m pretty much only watching it for Rachel Skarsten. I absolutely love Alice. She reminds me so much of Callisto on Xena. But the show has gotten a lot better since Ruby Rose left.

Fuck, at least KGB actually did something, all the DCEU Deathstroke has ever done is just wear a costume and stand around.

Who Batman even fights unlike several on this list.

It really is another one of those “copy the damn animated series!” moments. All those years in S:TAS with Lex being just a big, power hungry and egomaniac CEO who slowly gets pushed to more extremes was amazing. His hatred, fear and respect for Superman came through great, and it was believable when he finally snapped

GREAT SCOTT!

Paramount+, Mtv app (apparently a thing) and Prime Video if my ipad is to be believed.

Tell Us About Your Pop Culture Weekend

I happened to listen to We Hate Movies Free Guy episode yesterday while working, and they also found it very meh and disappointing, while I was charmed by it.  They compared Ready Player One favorably to it, because the latter had an in universe reason for alluding to so many known properties. I'm less surprised that

My channel grid only shows one episode of "Killing Eve" tonight. It is on at 7 Central time, followed by "Scarface" at 8.

And what about us cryptozoologists, hmm? When is it OUR turn?

Obligatory and topical reminder to not refer to cryptocurrency as “crypto.” Always write out “cryptocurrency” (and don’t forget to add “...is a scam”) so that we can get back to a world where “crypto” is short for “cryptography.”

Now playing

They should make a movie off Crossfire instead. They would capture that incredibly lucrative older millennial who watched a lot of Nickelodeon in the 90s demographic, and they would already have a kick-ass theme song to start the movie with:

this recurring gemstones article is one of the most insane things i’ve seen av club do. i don’t even get the impression either of them do particularly well?

I think the Academy just really misses seeing #RestoreTheSnyderVerse hashtags clogging up the twitter-sphere like the Freedom Convey on the Canadian border highway

Counter argument , TDK was the worst thing to happen to comics movies ever .It basically promoted the idea that the only ‘good’ comics movies were the super grimdark ,brooding, ‘I’m super super serious you guys*” miseryfests, that appeal to 14 year old boys who think that being moody makes them deep and neckbeards.
