Finally. The original Mxyzptlk episode was a disappointment and the actor who played him was just not the right fit. But Tom Lennon is pretty much the perfect choice.

Intruders was forgotten even as it was still airing sadly. The av club did review of it and just abruptly stopped doing them mid-season. The whole season was only like 6 episodes, would it have been that much trouble to see it through to the end? But no 

I was thinking the same thing—he must be referring to Intruders. Wish he would’ve commented more about that, because Intruders was rather insane. Although you make a good point, it was just another creepy assassin role for him, back when it seemed like that was all he’d get cast for.

I loved that show! And nobody watched it. It is based on a book that I will probably one day read, but after the first season there were too many unanswered questions and you just knew it wasn’t going to be renewed but it was some of the darkest arabesque stuff I had seen for a long time up to that point and it stuck…

I think the BBC show that he alludes to doing before Orphan Black is Intruders (with Millie Bobby Brown), an interesting, creepy one season show. He was, of course, a creepy assassin.

Given the Titans version of Doom Patrol has a different Chief, a different main character arriving at the end of the episode, and Larry has a completely different personality, while Doom Patrol Doom Patrol shows no signs of ever having had Gar... I think they’re a different Earth.

Everything else aside - the use and integration of “Blue Monday” into this trailer was phenomenal. Sound effects for breakbeats, symphonic adaptation - all spot on.  Slays the tired ‘ominous, brooding version of a pop hit’ music, hopefully.

Michelle Gomez should be playing both Lillith and Miss Wardwell this season. Double Michelle Gomez action can only be a good thing!
