Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of funny stuff in there (like the Bigfoot ep), but the heartwrenching stuff is…woof.

Haven't gotten to that one yet. But it's in the (ever-increasing) stack!
Wait until season 3, because…holy crap.
Movies: to quote werdup: Predator again.
Books: finished Paul Tremblay's A Head Full of Ghosts, which was…mostly good? There's a kind of wrenching change to the story that's necessary at about 120 pages in. And…it's a jarring change. But it's a good one, it's just a slightly difficult hump to get over.
The latter half of season 2 is THE BEST.
Yup! Probably about 450 people came for the whole thing (and we sold about 300 copies), and yet, our's wasn't the biggest turnout in the area. We had activities of all sorts going on from 8, too.
So I work at a bookstore, so last night I was overloaded with Harry Potter whatever. In keeping with that…I'm trying to avoid HP in my life for a week or so.
No, but during the end credits, he just kept saying "Terrible, absolutely awful", and going to everybody around him (whether they knew him or not) and trying to get them to agree with him. When he got to my friend and me, I just said "Dude, it might not be as good as the original, but it doesn't make it a bad movie."
Well, it made 295 million this weekend, so somebody had to have.
Movies: Ghostbusters was a blast, guys. I absolutely loved it. The only downer was the fedora-clad MRA sitting next to me who was desperate to get the people around him to not like it. And now I have a boatload of Criterion movies to watch that I got from B&N…
TBF, in the first BttF, the sexual assault isn't played for laughs. It's a dark, awful thing; sure, the repercussions aren't portrayed well, but the only actual joke in that scene is that Marty's dad actually punched out Biff.
TV: More Person of Interest. I love watching Kevin Chapman play such a schlub (as opposed to his terrifying mob boss over in Brotherhood), and I love playing "Spot The Wire actor!"
Hey, I did, too!
TV: Person of Interest season 2, which entertains me immensely.
Holy eff holy eff holy eff. Insanely good. Humor, horror, and some other stuff that starts with H. I kinda want to go back and rewatch everything. And then reread the books. But OH WAIT book 6 isn't out yet.
Books: Started reading Terry Pratchett's Equal Rites. As I tend to read book series in order, this is my third Discworld book…and man, I kinda love it. Pratchett does a great job at lampooning fantasy, as well as creating distinct, interesting characters (things that aren't always possible to get together).
EXACTLY THANK YOU.
Wait, this gets a B while Flash gets a C? Because this awful finale might have very well gotten me to finally cut this show loose.
Books: The Run of His Life: The People v. OJ Simpson, by Jeffrey Toobin. I was a kid when the OJ trial occurred, so I don't remember a lot of it, and…holy crap. This whole thing is just insane. Also, Toobin's such a good writer that I'm immediately interested in whatever else he's written.
