A couple movies that always manage to make me feel better are Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Step Brothers. Both are kinda dumb, but Sarah always manages to lift me up from the throes of whatever my latest romantic disaster is, and Step Brothers is just hilarious.

I love that this is a show where we've got both Dr. Frankenstein and Percy Bysshe Shelley in the same world. SO awesome.

"I don't read fiction because it's fake." I have no patience for that, and have actually stopped being friends with people because of that argument.

Really? That's the fun part. He's a pig and the most flamboyant guy ever. He also kills people the best.

Gosh, new Daario is about a million times better than last season's. The last guy drew out the runtime of Dany scenes by like 5 minutes with all the long smirks and the slow talking. I swear he pronounced Daario with 6 "a"s.

I dunno, the Wall stuff has what, a couple more battles, the election for Watch commander and all the politicking that goes with it, right? For a show with this much sprawl (including a wedding, a duel, Tyrion's imprisonment and escape, whatever Dany gets up to, Bran's adventures beyond the Wall, Stannis being

Ugh. Crash. I look back at that year, and I just…I cringe. Really? Crash? Over Munich, Syriana, Good Night & Good Luck, AND Brokeback Mountain? Each of those other four movies is stunning in its own right. Each of those movies is about a million times better than Crash.

Um, oh, man, don't listen to these guys. I love Lights Out (it's on Netflix). Holt McCallany really needs another chance, and Eamonn Walker's Ed Romeo is one of the most magnetic characters to only appear in 2 eps that I've ever seen.

What, no Lights Out?

Forgive me for being harsh, but…can we replace Josh on Filmspotting yet? The way he bounces off of Adam frequently just brings me back to the crashing bore that was the Never Let Me Go ep (during the Matty Ballgame years), and I find myself really only listening to the eps where they have Michael Phillips help out,

My most anticipated book is easily James Ellroy's Perfidia. A return to LA! A return of Ellroy's prose style! Just give it to me now . But no, I have to wait for September.

UGH. I HATE YOU GUYS.
