A real life “airborne toxic event”...
I’m happy to report that the V10 TDI is still alive and hasn’t visited my mechanic even once. Granted, I attribute that to the climate-controlled storage and the fact that I drive it very carefully. There’s probably a blood sacrifice to Lord Piech somewhere in there too. lol
Yeah it is etched and run through many different plating and cleaning baths, all of which are toxic. There’s no plastic that looks shiny and chrome. The only coating that comes close uses a chemical reaction with a silver nitrate solution found in “chrome” paints. Thankfully there’s no chromium in that type of paint.
The side profile looks like a Chrysler Crossfire.
Sure, by that time the Pontiac 400 had been neutered, but don’t badmouth the late 60s versions of that engine. Decades ago, I proudly built a replica of a 1969 Ram Air III 400 with a ‘74 short block, factory 9779068 RA III camshaft, and rebuilt ‘69 428 high compression, big valve heads, swapped into my ‘69 Firebird.
And several sped-up film sequences.
It also had Sally Field.
Counterpoint: These are better as an art piece than an actual vehicle. There is a saying that “old cars become valuable when they become so pretty that you forget how bad they were” - this car is valuable for that reason, but they are still really crappy cars.
My boy’s a box!
Damn you!
A BOX!!!!!
“You could hear them giggling the whole time”
Live free and not be bossed around by a bunch of power hungry shitheads.
Work on a ranch.
I realize I am in the minority, but I can’t stand GTA online. For me, the game is the single player story. Those who feel like I do were let down by Rockstar because they added nothing to the single player experience.
I guess that’s where the money is, but playing GTA Online was one of the worst experiences I have had…
Initial E
Acura Integra. Don’t pretend it is a luxury/premium product. It is lipstick on a pig. Ok a good pig to start with but it does not justify the positioning as a premium product. Buy a Honda Civic instead.
Jeep. All we own, we owe.
LOL, if you find any single instance of me defending Musk (which my comment certainly was NOT, it was a reaction to a commenter I know to be a shitty misogynist and bigot who is commenting on this article because he is upset about a man being called out for abusing a woman, not because he is criticizing Musk) ever,…
