The main problem was the shape, which really was shared almost entirely with the Camry. There was also the interior, which was simply the Camry’s cabin with nicer leather; the dashboard and center controls remained completely unchanged from the Toyota. It was almost as if Lexus had spent its entire design and

Arizona is a great place to store old cars because of the relatively low humidity and unsalted roads. As long as you can keep them out of direct sunlight, you are set.

Sawzall that roof off, then you got something.

I have one of these and using it is... weird. When it gets to whatever torque limit it has (~90 lbf) it starts to distort, twist. There’s no solid end, just a sort of go-limp feeling. Better to just get a nice clickable torque wrench for that “ahh” sort of satisfaction.

This is like some horrible, boring chess game where, no matter who wins or how they play, we the pawns always lose.

Ferrari must have hired some designers from Hot Wheels to come up with these new designs. They seem more and more outlandish with each model. I can’t have it? Wouldn’t take it if I could.

To me, the tail end of the current FR-S/BRZ/86 is really distinctive. The new version looks too much like a Civic now, somewhat generic. I do like that they integrated the 3rd brake light into the actual trunk, although it seems like there’s less rear visibility. The wider side mirrors should help with blind spots.

Id’ LOVE to see a AI-upscaled 60fps black & white version of the original “Blade Runner” in a theatre. The first time I ever watched “Blade Runner” was on a black & white TV. That warm analog softness really fit in with the noir attitude.

It only gets worse from here...

Really? No one?

Damn, that’s young. I have many of his designed Hot Wheels, still packaged, pinned to my wall. I feel bad that I didn’t even know he was the artist. Thanks for this article giving him props for his amazing work.

The CR-Z would have been a great little sports car if Honda had stuck a turbo K20 4-cylinder in the engine bay and added the CR-V’s 4WD system. Instead, we got a partial-hybrid putt-putt that few remember.
