1.2m wading depth isn't particularly amazing, no.

My dad and I rode in an old C-47 a few years ago and it was a hell of an experience. It's on my bucket list to ride in a P-51, P-47 or Corsair somehow one of these days.
They also weren't as fast (unless you count later Spits like the Mk.XIV) and couldn't - particularly in the Zero's case - dance as well at the high altitudes the P-51 specialized in.
Whenever the Collins Foundation comes through with their little fleet, I'm always SO tempted to throw down for a ride in their Mustang, but $2K is a lot to ask.
They’re dumb, but they’re fully aware that they’re dumb. If you’re in on the joke, they’re a lot of fun.
If I'm not mistaken, the two OV-10s that were shot down during Desert Storm were the older OV-10A models, which didn't have shrouded exhausts, making them basically sitting ducks for SAMs.
Sadly, we're now the Germans in our reliance on technically superior wonder weapons.
Love seeing proven platforms stick around and stay relevant with the right upgrades. This isn't quite the AH-1Z and UH-1Y, but still happy to see it around.
Definitely depends on the ship and the date. Schemes changed often (even more than the insignia standards on US aircraft, but that’s another story), but my point was that they weren’t uniformally gray in WW2. That came after.
Gray is the American beige
In WWII the Missouri and its sisters were a lot more snazzy...
And they wonder why millennials aren’t buying cars...
One thing I miss about Doom is the absolute, perfect "feel" of the shotgun and rocket launcher. I really don't feel like any game since has made either weapon feel as right, even with the intervening years of improved graphics, modeling, sound design and so on.
I'm not entirely convinced it wasn't planned. Seems like every year there's the question of whether Top Gear will come back, of tensions between the three and BBC and so on.
Coming from Mini-world here and the Cooper / S / JCW packages still matter a great deal.
tl;dr
Rocket has to carry its own propellant, thus either increasing size of decreasing range.
Ultimately, it's the solid axles that matter and that really make the Wrangler what it is.
So Saab doesn't count, but Messerschmitt gets to be on the list?
Viper = unofficial nickname given to the F-16 Fighting Falcon. Because Fighting Falcon is a mouthful.
