One of my favorite games last year. The mood and time period struck me in a way that few games have.

So, are people really critiquing "Gone Home" for not being a game? Or is it because it's a game about women? I never hear similar complaints about Minecraft or Goat Simulator. Sounds like yet another pretext for misogyny in the gaming community...

Your mom plays games. Thus, she is a gamer. How is that flawed? Just because the games she happens to play are on facebook does not mean they are not games or that she's not a gamer.

I always enjoy reading people's asinine reasons as to why they can't use Origin, even when a free game is involved. Like I remember when there was an article here on Kotaku about EA giving away Battlefield 1942(what some would argue is the best in the series) and you get this horde of people going on about WELL IF IT
